Be a part of our Ad Design Team as a FT Graphic Designer at The Guide, "Delmarva's Leading Advertising Source since 1959."

As part of our ad design team, you will compose display advertisements and assist with maintaining our social media networks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High creative energy with a strong work ethic, self-motivated, dependable, ability to multi-task, collaborate and have a great sense of typography with the ability to proofread
• Proficient typist w/excellent spelling skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat
• Commitment to complete tasks while providing quality work
• Dependable with the ability to work under pressure to meet publishing deadlines
• Reliable and accountable
HOURS: Monday, 8am-5pm; Tues. 8am-12noon; Wed. 8am-5pm; Thurs. 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4pm. NO WEEKENDS!

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Join a family owned, fast-growing media company. We are recruiting for an Account Executive to help local businesses on Delmarva with their advertising and marketing plans. This position is based out of our office in Seaford, DE but there is a high % of time spent out in the field, seeing businesses in person. Job Expectations:
Develop leads and prospect for potential advertisers by leveraging all touchpoints-email, phone, Google Meet, social media, and in-person

Present and sell core market advertising solutions to new and existing advertisers

Clearly communicate payment terms upfront when closing sales

Work closely with the fulfillment team to maximize advertising campaign results

Provide great service to retain advertisers

Secure appointments to help develop digital agency sales

Network and engage with chambers, rotary clubs, social media groups and events in the market to build relationships and support the business community

Consistently achieve your goals and grow your book of business

Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields

Above average technical skills

Strong time management skills, organized, deadline and detail-oriented
